Someone is definitely going to get run over hopping off a tram at the stop where domain road meets StKilda road. I'm not talking about Domain interchancge, but the the stop before it. Every day when the tram stops there about 3 cars whiz by at speed, without realizing that the tram's passengers have had to stop themselves from stepping out in front of them.
A couple of times cars have skidded to a halt to avoid hitting a commuter.
Lately I've been tempted to throw my backpack out in front of a car to really hit home the point that someone's going to get mowed down. But to do so would probably cause an accident.
